Driving Mizzou Sports Leadership with Laird Veatch
Laird Veatch became the Athletic Director for the University of Missouri in 2024. Before that, he was Athletic Director at the University of Memphis. He originally hails from Manhattan, Kansas, where he went to KState and was Captain of the Football Team. He then went on to the University of Texas and began his administrative career while earning his master's degree.
Laird began working at Mizzou in 1997, managing the Tiger Scholarship Fund, and then went on to positions at Iowa State, Learfield Sports, KState, University of Florida, Memphis and finally back to Mizzou last year.
